KEYNOTE SPEAKER

The conference opened on March 16 with a keynote address on the future of the user experience across an expanding range of devices and environments.

Building on the theme of the event, the keynote asked a simple question: as information, communication, and entertainment solutions become economically feasible on ever smaller and more varied devices, how do we make them intuitive and efficient enough for a diverse world of customers?

The talk explored how usability and design practice must evolve from the workstation-and-laptop era toward handhelds, wireless phones, and the many new form factors on the horizon.
